On the weekends you can find me sipping English Breakfast tea, cuddling with my cats Jonah and Rye, and experimenting in the kitchen.
I’m a twenty-something baker from Northern California who just loves food. I have been a vegetarian for about 10 years. I grew up in the kitchen, baking away with my mom and my two older sisters. Some of my fondest memories of my childhood center around fiddling about with our favorite family recipes.
After getting my undergraduate degree from Humboldt State University, I went to culinary school and completed a certificate in baking & pastry to pursue my passion for baking & food. I then worked in the baking industry in various situations to gain experience.
I have been with my partner, Nevin, for over 12 years. He’s my best friend, biggest fan and favoritest tester of all things food. We moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania about 3 years ago for him to pursue a phD program in Pollination Biology. And I completed a Masters in Food Studies program at Chatham University in the Fall of 2021 to continue my career in food. I am interested in pursuing recipe development, recipe testing, food writing, and food photography. Excited to see where life takes us next.
